On 12 August 2024, YADA's Quality Control Department, Quality Assurance Department, Warehouse Management, Machine Maintenance Team, Workshop Supervisors, Plant Manager and Operations and Maintenance staff gathered to review and interpret the records of the production system. This comprehensive evaluation ensures that our renowned wooden knives, forks, spoons, cutlery set and delectable ice cream sticks continue to meet the highest standards of quality.

The Importance of Quality Control in Production

Quality control is not merely a procedural requirement; it is a vital aspect of our operational ethos at YADA. By employing rigorous quality control measures, we ensure that every product that leaves our facility is crafted with precision and care. Through their efforts, the production equipment is kept in optimal condition, reducing downtime and guaranteeing production continuity and efficiency.
 
The Workshop Supervisor described the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including coordinating the work of operators and dealing with unexpected machine breakdowns or bottlenecks in the production line. He illustrated with case studies how small process adjustments have improved production efficiency while ensuring that every product meets quality standards.
 
The Plant Manager explained the data monitoring of the production system and emphasised the importance of data, pointing out that we no longer rely on intuition but on accurate data to make decisions. He mentioned specific cases of how timely adjustments were made when a production parameter was found to be out of standard, ensuring a significant increase in product excellence that week. "Our goal is to constantly go above and beyond," he said, "and using this data, we are able to drive innovation, optimise processes and improve efficiency."
 
Finally, the O&M staff shared their optimisation measures for the production system to ensure that every aspect of the production process is executed efficiently and accurately. We concluded the session by reaffirming our commitment to quality and discussing how we can continue to enhance our products and services through collaboration and innovation.
