Birch Wooden Candy Sticks with Ball Head — Wholesale
Three lengths. One system. Made for candy makers.
We turn candy sticks from solid birch with a round ball head at one end. That ball is the end you hold: it keeps fingers clear of hot syrup and, once the candy is wrapped, gives the consumer a dry place to grip. Three lengths — 100mm, 130mm and 150mm — cover small candy pieces, standard hard candy and large crystal pieces, so one supplier can fill the whole range.

Four Details That Decide Candy Stick Quality
Turned Birch, Round Ball Head
The ball is turned true to the shaft and sanded round, so the transition from shaft to ball is clean, with no step to catch a lip. It is the grip: a 10–12mm knob sits comfortably between thumb and finger and stays above the syrup while the shaft below it carries the candy.
Three Lengths, One System
100mm, 130mm and 150mm. Same material, same finish, same carton — one purchase order covers small candy, standard hard candy and large crystal pieces.
Slender 2–3mm Shaft
A thinner shaft keeps the ball visually dominant and keeps the sugar-to-stick proportion right: the crystal body is the product, not the wood. It also means less wood per piece, which shows in the landed cost at volume.
Sanded Smooth, No Splinters
Every stick is sanded along the full length and around the ball, so there are no burrs to catch a lip and no splinters to break off in the mouth. Rough edges and loose ball heads are the two defects that generate complaints in this category; both are addressed at the sanding stage.
Where Ball Head Candy Sticks Go to Work
For crystal candy, the surface is what the sugar grips: a sanded, even shaft lets crystals build up uniformly along the length instead of clumping in one spot and flaking later. The ball head holds the finished piece steady while it sets, and gives the consumer a dry place to hold once it is wrapped. Length keeps fingers clear of hot syrup during dipping.
